Q. How is the Amazing Charts Patient Portal secure?

A. We take great care to make sure your medical and health information is kept private and secure. The Amazing Charts Patient Portal uses HTTPS to provide encrypted communication between you and our office. Access to your online portal account is controlled through secure access codes, passwords and personal ID's. You are the only one who will have access to the login information needed to view your online portal account.


Q. What are the benefits of the Amazing Charts Patient Portal?

A. The Amazing Charts Patient Portal allows you take a more active role in your healthcare. Having a patient portal account helps our office create a more accurate record of your overall medical history as well as educate you on certain aspects of your health. It provides you and our office with a more efficient means of communication, eliminating sources of frustration such as missed phone calls. You will also be able to print or download portions of your chart to take with you to other providers participating in your healthcare, thus decreasing the amount of paperwork you may need to fill out.

Having a patient portal account also helps to minimize the amount of paper waste a practice produces. Letters, documents, and orders that might otherwise need to be mailed to you can be sent quickly and conveniently to your online portal account. You will continue to have access to these documents until you personally choose to delete them from your inbox, so you won't have to worry about important medical papers or letters getting lost or damaged.


Q. What do I need to use the Amazing Charts Patient Portal?

A. You will need access to a computer connected to the internet and one with an up-to-date browser (such as Internet Explorer or Google Chrome). You will also need an active working email address. Your provided email address is only used to notify you when you have a new message in your online portal account. Your email address is treated with the same privacy and care as your health records. For even more privacy on your end, it is suggested that you use an email address which only you have access to.


Q. How do I get started?

A. In order to have a patient portal account you will need to be one of our patients.  To activate the account, you will need to receive an activation code that we will provide. Once you have received the code, you will then create your own username, password, and other login information that is used to verify your identity. If you would like to activate your portal account, please contact our office to receive your activation code.

A. The Amazing Charts Patient Portal provides you with secure access to portions of your medical records online. It’s also an easy and convenient way to communicate with our office through a secure internet connection.


Think of it as an online account with our office, similar to online banking or credit card account. Once you are logged into your portal account, you will be able to view your own personal medical records. You are the only person who will have access to your health records online. That includes messages and communication between you and our office.
